Camping along Coffee Flats

The route to coffee flat provides us with some beautiful open views over the Peralta trail as well as once it leaves our view it opens up a whole new area that’s hidden from traffics view. As we make our way across it will take us by Miners needle, where we’ll continue on the trail to visit before backtracking 1.5 miles to take the coffee flat trail. From here we’ll be on this for a few miles before looking to find a camping spot. The next morning after breakfast, and maybe some coffee, we’ll make our way back passing by Miners needle on our way out. This trail isn’t a climb and is a hike, so while it’s been a while since I’ve hiked it, Miners needle is probably the biggest elevation gain on the hike.
