Cancellations & Refunds

Everything is first come, first reserve, so it pays to sign up as soon as you can so to fill your spot. If all hikes are full for a hike you want to do, keep an eye on the updates to see if a spot opens from a possible cancellation. While life happens, I can give full refunds up to a certain point, but only partials after, or zero on the day of.

No show, no refund, no exception.

No pack will be given and no refund provided if you show up to the trailhead the morning or day of the hike and you are intoxicated at all.

Hikes

  • Up to 48 hours: 100% refund

  • 47 hours to day before hike: 50% refund

  • No show on morning of hike: 0% refund

Camping

  • Up to 48 hours before: 100% refund

  • 47 hours to day before hike: 50% refund

  • No show on morning/day of hike: 50% refund

Rain

  • If the morning of calls for storms or any rain, full refund

  • If it’s raining when arriving at the trailhead, full refund

Disclaimers

Assumption of Risk

Participation in hiking and other outdoor activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven terrain, falling rocks, extreme temperatures, wildlife encounters, cactus and other plant injuries, insect stings, dehydration, slips, trips, falls, and other natural hazards. By participating in any guided hike, participants acknowledge and voluntarily assume these risks.

Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for determining whether they are physically capable of completing a hike. Guests should consult a medical professional before participating if they have concerns regarding their health or fitness. Participants must follow all instructions provided by the guide and exercise reasonable care for their own safety throughout the activity.

Equipment Provided

Equipment provided by Inked Dragon Adventuring, including backpacks, hydration systems, trekking poles, and other gear, is offered as a convenience to participants. Guests are responsible for using all equipment properly and reporting any equipment concerns before the hike begins.

Wildlife and Environmental Conditions

Guides may provide information regarding local wildlife, desert plants, weather conditions, and trail hazards; however, outdoor conditions can change rapidly and unpredictably. No representation or guarantee is made regarding trail conditions, weather, wildlife activity, or participant safety.

Educational Information

Information provided during hikes or on this website regarding wildlife, plants, geology, history, or Indigenous cultures is intended for general educational purposes only and should not be considered professional, scientific, legal, medical, or historical advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inked Dragon Adventuring, its owner, guides, employees, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, delay, or expense arising from participation in guided hikes or related activities.

Required Waiver

All participants may be required to sign a separate Participant Waiver, Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk Agreement, and any other required documents before participating in a guided hike.
